Taming Ruby on Rails

Nice post from Dennis Howlett at ZDNet on FiveRuns and our Ruby on Rails application monitoring service. In the article, Michael Coté comments that facilitating conversations with the Rails community and helping developers solve real performance problems with their Rails applications is the ticket to scalable Rails management.

Investing in and betting on a future filled with Rails production applications is what we’re all about. By providing the tools and conversation to help facilitate Rails adoption we hope to continue to help customers such as Investment Instruments and Blue Box Group save time and money in their development and production operations. And, we hope, set up FiveRuns as the go-to source for Rails application performance management. As Dennis points out in the post, the company that can successfully build up the dialog with the Rails community will outrun any incumbent systems management player that tries to enter the market.
